School Council is charged with providing a perspective that fosters the betterment of the School. Its duties, in addition to those stated in the UM Faculty Manual, are:

  • Respond to concerns of the faculty on matters relating to the welfare of the School.
  • Provides a school-wide faculty perspective on openings for new faculty hires
  • Charge the School committees and review their reports
  • Establish rotation and approvals for the Rosenstiel Award
  • Draft amendments/revisions to the School’s By Laws.
